About Mamaw's Recipe Box

When my grandmom, Mamaw (or "Laura Belle Brown" as some called her), moved from her house to a smaller place, she gave away many of the things from her home to family and friends. Mostly she gave away things like extra furniture that she didn't have room or a use for any more.

Among the things she gave me was a box of her recipes. I realized that, unlike the furniture, I'd been given something I could share. So, I created this web site.

You may have known Mamaw or you may not. Either way, you may find some of these old recipes familiar; you may find some of them tasty; you may find some of them unusual or, at the least, entertaining. Whatever, I hope you find something to cook and enjoy at home.
